Best Birthday Ever!

So I've been wanting to get back into blogging but seeing as my last post was almost 6 years ago I just didn't know where to start.  On December 21st I celebrated my 28th birthday, I don't know where the time has gone, just saying that makes me feel so old!  It was by far the greatest birthday ever, thanks to all the wonderful guys in my life.

I had to run an errand in the morning and my lovely neighbor watched the boys for me so I could go kid free.  When I got home the boys and I had a major cuddle fest in my room and then after lunch they had a friend over to play.  They have NEVER played so well together it was amazing!  They spent almost 2 hours in the playroom and didn't argued once!

After their friend went home we had yet another cuddle fest in my bed and when Aaron could see I was getting a little too comfy took Alex up stairs and put on a movie for them.  I totally passed out and got a fantastic nap in my own bed!  When the movie was done the boys sweetly came and woke me up, we read some books and drank smoothies.  Then we got ready to go meet big Aaron at work.

We picked him up and headed up to the Longhorns where we had a gift card from his work and a coupon for a free birthday dessert, not only was our food delicious, but we had hands down the best service we have ever had.  At this point it was after our usual 8 o'clock bedtime but it was the first real day of Christmas vacation and my birthday so we headed to Hollywood Connection.  The boys rode the rides and I got to watch, we all rode the bumper cars and the boys even got to drive themselves.
We headed upstairs to the arcade and we struck the jackpot, literally, on several games.  I mean like 6 or 7 times it was crazy!  The boys got to pick out a ton of little prizes and then we rode the bumper cars one more time on our way out.  Needless to say it was nearly 11 before we were leaving.

On the ride home the boys passed and we stopped by Aaron's work so he could get his car.  I always prefer to follow him, so as we got into our neighborhood I got to witness first hand why he is the greatest guy I know.  We were MAYBE 1 minute from our door, the home stretch, and Aaron noticed some guys trying to push their car out of a snow bank.  Before I could even register what was going on Aaron had backed up, parked and hopped out of his car to help them push it free.  They were super happy to have the help (they needed it) and I got enjoy seeing my husband doing what he does best, selflessly serving others.

It truly was the best birthday of my life and I'm so thankful I got to share it with my three favorite guys in the world!
